The AmCham January Monthly Meeting will discuss 2025 geopolitical and geographical challenges are most likely to continue. Mongolia's economic situation heavily depends on relations with its two neighbors and the ability to export commodities in significant volumes. Besides, the Trump 2.0 administration brings additional uncertainties on the U.S. relations with China and Russia and hence a possible impact on the Mongolian economy. The Parliament approved a deficit-free budget for 2025, however, ambitious mega projects of the coalition government are to roll-out requiring significant financing in the coming years.
