These minerals—such as lithium, cobalt, rare earth elements, and nickel—are essential for manufacturing batteries, electric vehicles, wind turbines, and semiconductors. As demand surges, supply chain vulnerabilities and geopolitical tensions highlight the need for secure, diversified, and sustainable sources. A critical question remains: How can Mongolia secure a role as a supplier of metals and minerals to the global market?
